How to connect to Wi-Fi on campus (Android CA certificate settings)
※If you were unable to select “None” or “Do not validate” for the CA certificate selection item when setting up Wi-Fi, follow the steps below to set it up.

(1) Open the Wi-fi settings on the smartphone.
*Long press the Wi-Fi symbol, or select ‘Gear’ icon ?=> Wi-Fi menu, etc. |

(2)?Select wifi-setup |
|
(3) Enter the following passcode. The other fields do not need to be changed.
Passcode: wifi-setup |

(4) Confirm that the connection is “Connected”.
*Ignore a message such as “You are not connected to the Internet” is displayed. |

(5)On the login screen, enter the log in user name and password for the campus PC.
Example) user name: e2029000x |

(6) When the certificate download page appears, select ‘Download certificate’. |
|
(7) In addition, a password input screen is displayed, enter the following.
Password: nufswifi |
|
(8) For the type of certificate, select the following.
Type: Wi-Fi certificate |
|
(9) Open the Wi-Fi settings screen again and select ‘NUFS-WL000‘ from the available networks. |

(10) Set up as follows.
EPA method: PEAP
Phase 2 authentication: MSCHAPV2
CA certificate: cai-WIFI-ADSV1-CA
*If the above cannot be selected, start over from (6) of this procedure. You may select ‘None’ or ‘Do not validate’.
Domain: cai.local.nagasaki-gaigo.ac.jp
ID (Identity) : Log in ID for campus PC.
*(e.g. e2023000x)
Anonymous ID (Identity): (Leave blank)
Password: Log in password for campus PC
Privacy: (No need to change) |

(11) When the configuration is complete, check that the NUFS-WL000 is shown as connected and the configuration is complete.
*Once all settings have been deleted, delete the ‘wifi-setup’ connection that was connected in (4). |
